Pascal the Holiday Raccoon Hand-Printed Christmas Card

A handmade, original, open edition linocut print entitled, "Pascal the Holiday Racoon." This simple bold greeting card with hand-modified colour details features Pascal the holiday raccoon grasping his favourite ornament. Hand carved, printed, and modified with Tombow watercolour pens, this linocut print is more than a greeting card! The 5 x 7 card size works perfectly in a standard frame making the perfect addition to your holiday decor! As a Toronto resident, raccoons are an iconic part of my everyday life, and I have taken to playfully naming every raccoon Pascal. This greeting card is blank on the inside.

These linocut cards are hand printed using Speedball Professional Block Printing Ink (Black) on beautiful Strathmore Natural White Printmaking Cards.

Each print is signed in pencil by Eric Van Giessen. This is an open-edition print and as such does not include edition numeration.

Every step in the process of making the linocut, from designing and drawing, to carving and printing, is done entirely by hand by me. This means that every print is absolutely unique and may vary ever so slightly from the illustration. These differences and imperfections are not flaws, but rather an inevitable outcome of the handmade process.

All prints are dispatched within 3 business days in a protective cellophane sleeve, ready to gift or frame. They are then carefully packed in a rigid mailer and dispatched via Canada Post. Standard lettermail and tracked shipping options are available and may be selected at checkout.
