This hand-printed linocut was made using a multi-layer 'reduction' technique where a design is carved and printed and then recarved and printed again to produce two separate layers. This is done using the highest quality SpeedBall Professional Block-Printing Ink ensuring that this print will last a lifetime. The handmade quality of the print comes to life with premium quality white (250 gsm) Rising Stonehenge Paper with deckled edges.

Each print is signed and dated in pencil by Eric Van Giessen and includes a fancy-schmancy certificate of authenticity with a Queero Gear wax seal. Since each print in the run bears a different number in the edition, the number on your print (e.g 5/35) may not be the same as the one shown in the photographs. 

Every step in the process of making the linocut, from designing and drawing, to carving and printing, is done entirely by hand by me. This means that every print in the edition is absolutely unique and may vary ever so slightly. These differences and imperfections are not flaws, but rather an inevitable outcome of the handmade process.

Local pickup is available for prints (framed and unframed).

Shipping: Your unframed print will be securely packaged in an acid-free, board-backed cellophane sleeve and dispatched within 3-5 business days.
